Robin Staylin has had a terrible year and at the end of all of it she's found she's just tired of reality. Her only solace since she was a kid has been the world's most popular MMORPG, Gintree Universe Online, which has a service to merge its users' consciousness into the world of the game for a period of time. Still, even in another world, the reality of leaving her family and the death of her brother can't seem to leave her mind.
